Dr. Jason B. Miller (Lic. #17558)

Dr. Jason B. Miller was born and raised in Ventura, California.  He received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Louisville in 1999, with a focus on: psychological, forensic, & neuropsychological assessment; cognitive & behavioral therapies; and health psychology.  After interning at Norristown State Hospital in Pennsylvania, he returned to Ventura to serve for 13 years as a clinical and research psychologist for the County of Ventura in a wide variety of programs.  He completed an additional Masters in Public Administration at CSU Northridge in 2004. In addition, Dr. Miller has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level for Moorpark College, CSU Northridge, and CSU Channel Islands.  He has been a presenter at the International Congress of Psychology in Montreal and Beijing, the California Institute of Mental Health, the California Quality Improvement Conference, the Latino Behavioral Health Institute, and Netsmart West Exchange.  Dr. Miller is certified as a specialist in: treatments for alcohol abuse, marijuana addiction, and dementia; disaster, domestic violence & child abuse response; and cognitive-behavioral therapy. He is also credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
